Understanding the role of social media for young people with additional needs

From where adults stand, it seems we focus only on the risks of a digital world and what might happen to our children. Parents of children with additional needs understandably feel protective and with good reason. They described their anxieties and worries in our workshops, they also worried about how to help their child as they grew older and wanted more independence online.
